Why don't magnetic ring inductors need to be produced automatically?

2020-12-23

Magnetic ring inductors are different from conventional I-shaped, patch and other winding inductors. The magnetic ring inductors have complex process pins. Due to the common ring structure, repeated threading from the inner hole is required. Regarding the number of turns, the single layer arrangement, At present, some manufacturers use semi-automatic threading machines to prevent the inaccurate number of coils that are manually threaded. However, they cannot be used for products with a large number of turns. I-shaped inductors, chip inductors and other winding inductors are basically automated production , Then is the magnetic loop inductor suitable for unmanned automated consumption?

      1. Products that complete automated consumption have higher divergent requirements for products, and the materials of magnetic loop inductors are very different, there are too many sizes and specifications, and the cost of automation at this stage is too high;

       2. The magnetic loop inductance process is relatively complicated, and most of the processes require manual operations, such as bottom-piercing, dispensing and other processes to complete automated consumption, and it is necessary to develop more sophisticated automation equipment than traditional I-shaped inductors.

       3. In order to complete the automatic consumption of magnetic loop inductors, it is possible to develop manipulators to replace labor, but the cost is too high. At this stage, the efficiency of single-handle manipulators is not as good as manual. Combining the above elements, magnetic loop inductance still mainly depends on manual operations.
